For a long time, I lived to eat. Growing up in Louisiana, there was ever a celebration on the way and information technology was always celebrated with food. Circling around food and cooking our favorites was a regular pastime, simply over time I became frustrated with the value I was putting on nutrient. Like my friend, I wanted to learn how to eat to live, non exist preoccupied with what I was going to eat adjacent.

On the other hand, some desire to sever their emotional necktie to food and join the other military camp: people who eat to alive. While they may consider this relatively Spartan existence to be missing the spice of life, for others it is simply how they accept decided to change emotional or disordered eating patterns. Or, they may just not be interested in food, and that is OK too.

Equally I say most near habits, it's not a trouble unless information technology'due south a problem.

Since most of us want to learn how to swallow less emotionally, not more, here are some ways that you lot tin can raise your awareness of your eating habits and larn how to consume to live.
